While the Droid Razr was busy packing on the pounds this holiday season, Huawei announced the Ascend P1S and its slightly thicker brother the Ascend P1. The P1 S measures in at 6.68 thin making it the world’s thinnest smartphone. It has a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED 960 x 540 screen with Corning Gorilla Glass, a 1.5GHz TI OMAP 4460 dual-core processor, 8 MP camera, 1.3 MP front-facing camera, and it will run Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box. The P1 is exactly the same phone except it is slightly chunkier measuring in at 7.69mm and packs a larger battery. Both phones will be available in black, white, pink, and more colors soon to come. They will be available in Europe, Asia-Pacific, North America, Australia, Middle East, and China starting in April; but, it is unclear if will be a staggered launch.
