The Samsung Galaxy SII and its variants are arguably some of the best Android phones on the market today. AT&T seems to agree; they just picked up their third Galaxy SII phone, the Samsung Galaxy SII Skyrocket HD (above). Not only is this the third Galaxy SII device AT&T will have but the second Skyrocket. The only differences seem to be the Skyrocket HD has, like the name says, a 1280 x 720 HD display and that it is a tenth of a millimeter thinner. We will know more when a full spec sheet is given. Pricing and availability will be “in the coming months”
AT&T will also carry the Samsung Exhilarate (below). Samsung claims it is “the first 4G LTE smartphone built to meet many environmental and sustainability standards”. The Exhilarate is made from 80% recycled post-consumer materials and was certified platinum by UL Environment. It will have “eco modes and tools” including a calendar and calculator to see how eco-friendly you are. It will be a 4 inch device priced under $50 with availability “in the coming months”. Hopefully we get more details as well.
