The first DLC pack for the hugely successful Modern Warfare 3 is slated to launch on January 24th. Robert Bowling (aka FourZeroTwo) announced it on the Call of Duty Elite program, “Roll Call” which is only available to Elite Subscribers. At this point there are no solid details regarding the DLC other than it will cover a wide spectrum of games times and “a variety of things that players have never seen before.”

With the 3 development teams working on DLC for Modern Warfare 3 we’re hoping for some serious DLC love, and Subscribers to the COD Elite service are hoping to get their moneys worth. It would have been really nice to see something hit before the Holidays so people could take advantage of their time off, but with all the problems Elite faced at launch we can understand a delayed launch of DLC.

What does remain to be seen is how much DLC  Elite subscribers are going to receive. The initial information for Elite Subscriptions promised Monthly Content updates for 12 months, so far the game has been available for over a month without any DLC available which is certainly getting on some subscribers nerves.
